Resool Pookutty -First Malayalee oscar winner

Kudos to Resool pookutty for being the first malayalee to win oscar he have earned us a moment to be proud of.

Another record was set when A R Rahman, winner of two Oscars (for the song Jai Ho and the movie score) for Slumdog Millionaire, used a Tamil expression. The movie nominated for 10 Oscars in nine categories had a dream run at the 81st edition of the Academy Awards, winning eight trophies, including for best film and best director.

RMS on cloud computing

We went to FSFS at Trivandrum and there were sessions by RMS,Eben Moglen and Jimmy Wales . A detailed report on the three day event could be seen here.

We were lucky to shoot a question at RMS on cloud computing .

Eventhough he used to call it a stupidity ,this time (I felt) he was a bit tolerant towards it saying ‘it is dangerous and it is dangerous like using a computer ,or any Email service ‘.
His thoughtful responses from his experiences.But said ,it ensures were interesting.He did not specifically talk about Gmail but said that it ensures atleast one person other than sender and receiver reading the mail .

Was a nice experience to spend three days in the Freedom Expo(@ Kanakakunnu kottaram) and in sessions at Mascot Hotel.

Mini Project

If there was no language called ‘python’

I can’t imagine myself to do my miniproject ..hmm… 

Finally panorama too ..

Yeah .. The panorama project mentioned before also got its way through …

Mikhil did the hardware part . Actually he himself has made my code working ..

Camera will now rotate using a stepper motor to take photos which is later joined to make panoramas .But the automated process will hold you heart ..

Line follower …

Finally they got it ran … The ssssp team ..I am proud of my class mates .
They have made a line following robot which I have already mentioned in my blog earlier when they started off with the work ..

In whatever way we are stuck with any of simple micro-controller circuit doubts ,we used to refer their blog .Being inspiration for many of us working on micro-controllers and related circuits . Another team from our class is doing a USB to RS232 converter receiving inspiration from above works .

A circuit maker

Our chipbake projecthas got a new companion a circuit maker .Unlike other languages python won’t shear time from us . Its a simple deal to create such an application in python / Tkinter .The GUI looks like shown below :

Caught you Ahsan …

Viruses are bad (How to catch Ahsan’s virus- in my tech blog )

Finally I was compelled to take such a conclusion .Viruses are bad .
An Ahsan’s virus got into my system ..
This is really a funny one .. It acts every 5 seconds .. Closes all applications you try to run ..Renames all stuffs as Ahsan’s ..

I used to try viruses to know how to catch them ..This time It caught me .. I was myself installing it accidently along with MobiMB3.6.6 .. Dont download it ..It is a virus .

I have got a comment for this in techspec from somebody called ahsan manan … I din mean to hurt anyone .. I just posted a remedy for this at techspec
